Will OpenTrap fit my cage?
Designed for traditional spring-mechanism, wire-mesh box-style cage traps. Gravity-closing, guillotine-style and tube traps are excluded. Compare the door, spring mechanism and top wires with the product photos and instructions.
What comes with OpenTrap Regular?
The pre-assembled opener, main handle and rope clips, a 20-foot extension rope with handle and carabiner, latch clip, alternate clip for compatible Havahart cages, and metal cage stake. Cage trap, gloves and hammer are not included.
What should I check before use?
Fit and secure the device, check the rope runs freely and test full door motion with an empty cage. Inspect parts for wear, secure the cage against tipping and follow the included instructions and applicable local wildlife rules.
